Mary E. South

Mary E. South, 70, of Nottingham, PA, died on Saturday, August 29, 2009 at her home. She was the wife of Felix E. South. Born in Mt. City, Tenn., she was the daughter of the late Sam and Ella Icenhour Guy.

She is survived, in addition to her husband of 51 years, by six daughters; Wilma Gentry, Martha Blevins, Ella South, Tammy Becerra, Vicky Maynard and Crystal South, four sons; James, Simon, Brian and Mark South, 18 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, four brothers, Conley, Burl, Earl and Sam Guy and two sisters Donna Blevins and Barbara Rodriguez. She was preceded in death by one daughter Bonnie South.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 3, 2009 at 1:00pm from the Nottingham Missionary Baptist Church, 303 Christine Road, Nottingham, PA followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery. Family and friends are also invited to attend the viewing at the church from 12noon to 1:00pm.
