Carol L. Minnick, 72, of Christiana, PA, passed away suddenly on Monday morning, January 23, 2017 at the Brandywine Hospital. Born in Akron, NY, she was the daughter of the late Edward A. Reese, Sr. and Norma J. Hubler Reese.
Carol was an area resident most of her life. Her greatest joy was being a grandmother. She enjoyed bowling, drawing and, of course, all things Elvis. She was a certified nursing assistant and had been employed by Harrison Senior Living and Freedom Village nursing homes.
She is survived by one daughter; Leslie D. Bristow and husband LeRoy, Jr. of Parkesburg, four grandchildren; Bridget Wolfgang and husband Joseph of Coatesville, Kristen Bristow, LeRoy Bristow, III and Candace Bristow all of Parkesburg, two great grandchildren; J.T. Wolfgang and Anastasia Salzman, two sisters; Patricia Sabo of Coatesville, Sharon Lemon and husband David of Coatesville and one brother Edward Reese and wife Diane of Downingtown.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, January 28, 2017 at 11:00am from the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St. Parkesburg, PA. Visitation at the funeral home from 10 to 11am. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in her memory to Cancer Research Institute at http://www.cancerresearch.org/giving-to-cri/ways-to-give

So sorry to hear of the passing of Carol. I enjoyed working with her the years I was at Freedom Village. She was a kind, compassionate strong woman. She loved her family and nothing gave her more pleasure than talking about them and helping them in any way she could. She will be missed.

I want to tell you how much your mom and grandmother, was such a beautiful lady. I met your mom at Freedom Village and found out how each of os loved Elvis. The two of us took off for Tenn. To vist the man we both loved. We didnt know each other, but became good friends. She was a hard worker and a very verhy good lady. I was so glad to of know her. May God be with you all. My prayers are for you.
Condolences to the family
Carol was a great neighbor and always had a minute to chat. Our schedules were quite different so we didn't get to see each other that much. She always talked of her family, the people she had worked with and the residents.She was a great lady and always talked highly of others. Glad I had an opportunity to met her. I know she will be sorely missed. So sorry for your loss.
