Brenda Lee Guest, 63, of Coatesville, passed away on Friday, November 18th at Chester County Hospital.  She was the beloved wife of Harold J. Guest, Sr., with whom she shared 45 years of marriage.  

Born in Coatesville, Brenda was the daughter of Hellen (Troupe) and Paul Rhoades.  She was a graduate of Coatesville High School and was employed by Coatesville Area Schools and Wal-Mart Parkesburg.  

Brenda was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church of Coatesville.  

She is survived, in addition to her husband, by three sons, Harold Guest Jr., husband of Edna, of Honey Brook, Shaun Guest, husband of Sheri, of Gap, and Daniel Guest, Sr., husband of Heather, of Coatesville; five grandchildren, Amber Guest, Adam Guest, Tyler Rylee, Daniel Guest, Jr. and Sarah Guest; and one sister, Trudy Wallace of Ephrata.  She was predeceased by a son, Steven Guest.  

The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, November 26, 2016 at 11 AM at Wagontown Chapel, 469 W Kings Hwy, Coatesville, PA, followed by interment in Honey Brook Methodist Cemetery.  The viewing will be from 10 until 11 AM.

I am so sad to hear of the passing of Brenda. She was my favorite cashier at Walmart. I would look for her every time I was ready to check out. She was such a sweet and friendly lady. She will be dearly missed.

i am so very sad that this world lost a most beautiful lady who accepted my daughter and grandson into her family as her own.. Brenda we never did get to cook together here on earth but when I see you again on the other side we will cook up a storm.. You will be very missed.... ❤️ Thank you for being you. I know you will be watching from above and you will be guiding your family in love and spirit.. Rest In Peace my friend..

I just wanted to say I am so sorry for your loss. Brenda was an amazing women and always had a smile on her face! I used to work with her at Walmart and no matter how you felt when Brenda came around she put a smile on your face. Thoughts and prayers go out to her family. She will be remembered!

There has never been or will be a sweeter person put on the face of this earth than Brenda. Always having a smile on her face and a kind word coming from her lips. Our lives have been made better by knowing and sharing time with her. My sincere sympathy to all of her family.

My condolences to the entire Guest family.  Brenda worked in the school cafetria where I taught 6th grade.  Her positive attitude, infectious smile and laugh and gentle way with the many students she came in contact with each day will always be remembered and sorely missed.    Fran Rodkey
