Susan H. Taylor

Susan H. Taylor, 68, of Gap, PA, passed away on Thursday, August 13, 2020, in Lancaster.  She was the wife of the late Earl R. Taylor who died in 2000.  Born in Coatesville, she was the daughter of the late John L. Hess Sr. and Charlotte L. Miller Hess.

Susan worked as a hairdresser and did soldering at Burroughs.  She was a member of Our Lady of Consolation Church, The Gap VFW, and the Christiana American Legion.

She is survived by her siblings; Ann Alexander of Gap, Charlotte McDaniel of Leola, Mary Bender of Honey Brook, and Kathleen Bostic of Gap, and several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by a brother, John L. Hess Jr.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend funeral services on Thursday, August 20, 2020, at 11:00 a.m. from the Wilde Funeral Home with visitation from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Interment will be at Upper Octorara Cemetery.  To protect those at-risk, please wear a face mask and practice social distancing at the service.
