Raymond G. Weir, Jr.

Raymond G. Weir, Jr., 74, of Christiana, passed away on Sunday, August 30, 2009 at his home. He was the husband of Mary A. Kurtz Weir with whom he shared 44 years of marriage. Born in Pomeroy, he was the son of the late Raymond Weir Sr. and Margaret Doyle Weir.

He is survived, by his wife of 44 years, Mary A. Kurtz Weir, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 2, 2009 at 2:00pm from the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St. Parkesburg, Pa. followed by interment at the Upper Octorara Cemetery of Parkesburg. Family and friends are also invited to attend the viewing at the funeral home from 1:00pm to 2:00pm.
