Mitchell K. Dickinson, 61 years young, of Trainer, PA passed away on October 10, 2020 in Trainer, PA. Born in Coatesville, he was the son of the late Catherine Denson Dickinson and John Dickinson.
Mitchell grew up and lived in the Parkesburg area most of his life. As a child he enjoyed playing soccer, running track and spending time with family and friends. While in high school he was recognized in the hall of fame for his achievment in Track & Field. He graduated in the year 1978 of Octorara High School in Atglen, PA.
Later on in his life he became employed with Quad Graphics located in Atglen Pa, in which he dedicated over 30 years of employment. He enjoyed working because he gave him comfort and peace. Regardless of what life through his way he kept employement because he believed in the motto, " A man who doesn't work, doesn't eat".
Mitchell was a quiet and shy Man but his presence was always felt with a smile. He spent most of his time working or spending time with loved ones. He was a man of little words but his presence was always felt, he was warm and gentle! He valued family and understood the importance of staying connected.
He is survived by one twin brother, Mark K. Dickinson of Inglewood, CA. Two sons; Mitchell K. Wilkerson and Travis M. Wilkerson both of Trainer, PA, and two honorary children, Reggie Wilkerson and Frances Sanchez of Coatesville Pa. Three grandchildren; Jaki Marshall, Zahimair Sellars and Zoey Wilkerson. His neices Jaunesha Woods from Wilmington DE, Paige Novak, Faith Dickinson fof Ohio, Shalea & Kaylee Washington of California. His nephew Robert Woods of Trainer PA and many other neices, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by one sister Lois V. Dickinson and one brother John Dickinson.
Combined Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 14, 2021 at 11:00 AM at the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St. Parkesburg, PA. Family and friends are also invited to attend the visitation at the funeral home from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
