Lena Caudill

Lena Caudill, 104, of Kennett Square, passed away on Saturday, March 19th under the care of Friends Home.  She was the widow of the late Charles Cox and Fred Caudill.

Born in Independence, Virginia, Lena was the daughter of the late Columbus Hollaway.  An area resident most of her life, she was a member of Avondale Baptist Church, Avondale, PA.  She worked as a machine operator in West Grove.

Lena is survived by her daughter, Joanna Dickens of Kennett Square, 10 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 20 great great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her daughter, Joyce Martin, three brothers and four sisters.

The family wishes to thank the staff at the Friends Home in Kennett Square and also Holisticare Hospice of Chester County for the lovely care provided for Lena.

The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, March 25, 2016 at 11 AM at Calvary Baptist Church,218 Ellicott Rd, Avondale, PA 19311 followed by interment in Union Hill Cemetery of Kennett Square.  Viewing will be from 10 until 11 AM.
