Kamryn Darlene Elwood, 19, of Sadsburyville, passed away on Tuesday, July 13, 2021. Born in Wilmington, Delaware, Kamryn was the beloved daughter of Michelle Clark and Kevin Phillips of Sadsburyville, and Bartley Elwood.
Kamryn was a 2020 graduate of Coatesville High School and was enrolled in college to study forensics.
She loved animals, especially horses, her favorite of which was named "Wildfire". She like any kind of music, from country, to metal to rap. Kamryn had her own style. She loved shopping, getting her nails done, and doing hair and make-up. Kamryn never cared what anyone thought of her and her style reflected that.
She loved watching Vampire Diaries, True Blood, and Sons of Anarchy. Kamryn enjoyed going to Tennessee to visit with family. Most of all, she loved being with her family.
She is survived, in addition to her parents, by three siblings, Ryan Elwood, Brandon Phillips, and Justenia Phillips; her grandparents A.J. and Audra Phillips; great grandfather, Ernest William Dunn; her aunts and uncles, Derrick Clark, companion of Megan Lease, Christine Clark, Tina Forbes and husband Francis, Crystal Elwood, Chris Elwood, Michael Elwood, and Tammy Riley. She was especially close to her cousins Alan, Matthew, Jasmine, Elaina, Eden, and Jeremy Jr. and to her great aunts, Charlotte and Honey; and best friend, Summer Haines.
Kamryn was predeceased by her grandparents, Darlene and Gary Clark, Diane Hicks, and Edgar Elwood, Jr.
A Funeral Service will take place on Friday, July 23rd, 2021 at 12 noon at Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St., Parkesburg, Pa., with Pastor Dwayne Walton officiating. The public viewing will be from 10 AM until the start of the service. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
