Julia Paige Griest, 21, of Coatesville, left this world on Wednesday, May 12, 2021. Born in Coatesville, she was the daughter of Jennifer Jo Hoskins of Coatesville and Ryan Everett Griest of Coatesville.
Julia was an area resident all her life and a 2017 graduate of the Coatesville Area High School. Her favorite interests were competition cheer and softball. She cheered for the South Brandywine Bulldogs and the Coatesville Area Raider Allstar competition team. She enjoyed spending a lot of time with her family and friends. She had an extremely close relationship with her younger cousins. Julia was employed as a receptionist at Gentle Dental in Thorndale.
She is survived, in addition to her parents by two siblings; Ryan Griest of Narvon and Jessica Griest of Coatesville, a "significant other" Miguel Padilla of Coatesville, maternal grandfather Richard Hoskins of Parkesburg, paternal aunt, Kelly Worrell, and husband Bruce of Coatesville, and maternal aunt, Kelly Jo Hoskins of Coatesville, along with a tribe of cousins. She was preceded in death by maternal grandmother Barbara Hoskins and paternal grandmother Mary Griest.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 20, 2021, at 6:00 PM at the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St. Parkesburg, PA 19365. Family and friends are also invited to attend the viewing from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
In order to protect those at-risk, please wear a face mask and practice social distancing while at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made directly to the Wilde Funeral Home at the above address to help her family defray funeral expenses.

Julia was my niece I treated her like my child before I had kids she got older I wish we still had that bond never stopped loving her even if we didn't see eye to eye I will miss her In this world RIP BABY GIRL!

Jessica and Ryan, I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your sister. I will never forget her and your family. I ran into her at a local store about a year ago. She recognized me and we. I asked about you both and your grandmother at that time all was well!!
