Joyce S. Wright

Joyce S. Wright, 88, of Christiana, PA, passed away on Sunday, November, 3, 2024 at the Newport Meadows Nursing Home. She was the widow of Jack L. Wright, Sr. who died in 2021. They shared 40 years of marriage. Born in Honey Brook, PA, she was the daughter of the late Earl and Evelyn Wise Smith. 

Joyce was an area resident all her life and a graduate of the former Scott High School in Coatesville. She was employed as an office worker with Cardinal Cotton Fabrics. 

Joyce was a member of the Wagontown Union Chapel in Wagontown, PA. 

She is survived by three children: Dawn Reese, widow of the late Steve Reese of Coatesville, Jack Wright Jr. and wife Kathy of Leola, and Brenda Lasak and husband Robert of Coatesville, seven grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one sister Norma Jones and one granddaughter Heather Dawn Reese. 

Graveside services will take place at 11 AM on Monday, November 18, 2024, at the Fairview Cemetery, 786 Oak St, Coatesville, PA 19320.
