Condolences

I have always had great respect for the sisters of my Dad, John Reside.
They have been a great example to me of strength and faith. Helen was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who had her share of life challenges and still remained faithful in all and to all with unwavering committment.

My prayers are today for those who are left behind with memories. Brother, sisters, children, grandchildren and friends. To God be the glory we all will one day re-unite forever to live with the Lord and Savior we serve here on earth.

Thank you, Helen for your example!

Around 1936 a huge snow storm was in progress and Helen got her hand caught in the ringer of the washer. Mama had left the scene of the accident and was brought back by the screams of Helen. This may not be a complete story, but one I always think of when I think of my sister.

We give thanks to God and before our family for His constant care and keeping. We will always remember Helen's contribution to the spiritual life of her family.

We reach our arms of love to her and know she will be a bright spot in Heaven.

With Love and Prayers to remaining family members....Brother, John

My Dad, John Reside, was Helen's brother. I'm his oldest child. I well remember my Aunt Helen. My two keenest memories of her trace back to times I spent in Concordville, Pennsylvania at my grandparents house. I remember her laugh and I remember her quick wit.

As I matured in life, I came to realize that my Dad's sister knew much in life of suffering, pain and heartache. I came to also know that, even in the face of great hardship, she had remained true to her faith in Christ and true to her responsibilities in life, especially as a mother.

I have always felt that I have a rich heritage as a Reside. I saw evidence in childhood that my grandparents, aunts and my Dad loved each other. I saw that as a people of faith they were each commited to the Lordship of Jesus Christ in personally meaningful ways. I am a blessed man for such a heritage.

To all who knew and loved my Aunt Helen I, together with my wife Nancy, extend condolences. May the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, and of Helen Wilson, comfort you with all comfort in the Holy Spirit.

I really didn't know my Aunt Helen, as good as I would have liked, she was one of my Dad's sisters. The first thing that I always remembered about her, is that she seemed short in stature. To me she always seemed to be very faithful, in all ways. Her whole family have the same destination, Heaven, where she Resides now. She has gone to see her Mom and Dad Sister, and friends. I said, I didn't get to know her well, but I have the same destination.
I was very sorry to hear of Aunt Helen's passing I wish to tell her family, that I am praying for them. Some day We Shall Behold Him,like she already is.
