Hedweig Grace “Heidi” Thompson, 64 of Honey Brook PA, passed away at her home on Sunday, December 11, 2022. She was the wife of Richard I Thompson JR for over 47 years. Born in Coatesville PA, She was the daughter of the late Allen L. and Mary S. Mendenhall.

Heidi ran a home cleaning service, cleaning for many friends and family throughout the years.

Heidi loved her dogs, rabbits, and chickens. She collected hundreds of T-shirts throughout the years from her many runs, marathons, and bikeathons. She loved her teas and going to the tea house with her grandchildren and her friends. Heidi had a passion for her gardening and yard work and loved her fruit trees. Very often, Heidi would be up early making a variety of jellies and jams. For the holidays, Heidi would make many detailed cookies to make trays and give them as gifts. Heidi was meticulous about her nail art. She made many friends with the nurses over the past 4.5 years while going weekly for chemotherapy.

She is survived by a son Richard I. (Tamlyn) Thompson lll of Honey Brook, grandchildren Josslyn, Evan, Lillyan, and Jace Thompson, all of Honey Brook, and brothers Danny (Jill) Mendenhall of Honey Brook and Ronnie (Wendie) Mendenhall of Pottstown PA. She was proceeded in death by siblings Allen JR, Dennis, and Larry Mendenhall.

Funeral Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
