Harry Thomas "Hap" Milman, Sr., 83, of Coatesville, PA, passed away on Wednesday, March 6, 2024, surrounded by loved ones. He was the beloved husband of Maureen Fletcher-Milman with whom he shared the past 41 years. He was born in Wilmington, DE to George Kenneth "Kenny" Millman, Sr. and Helen Reed (Smith) Millman.
Hap grew up in Colywn,PA, after which he proudly served his country in the U.S. Army from 1959 to 1962. He was later employed as a field mechanic for both TWA and American Airlines. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Prospect Park, PA. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, riding motorcycles, hunting, building and repairing anything electrical - especially computers, Eagles games, and was an avid ham radio operator.
In addition to his wife, Harry is survived by his children Joe (Carmen) Fletcher of Chester Springs, PA, Denise Milman of Chester Heights, PA, Dave (Dawn) Fletcher of Narvon, PA, Stephanie Milman of Chester Heights, PA, Harry Thomas "Tom" (Angela) Milman of Ballston Spa, NY, Brian (Sheri) Fletcher of Parkesburg, PA, Steve (Gretchen) Fletcher of New Holland, PA, Danielle Kasian of Coatesville, PA, siblings Helen D. "Susie" (Millman) Satterfield and Edwin Oliver "EO" Millman, 15 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by both of his parents "Kenny" and Helen, siblings George Kenneth "Ken" Millman, Jr., Judith "Judy" (Millman) Johnson, and son-in-law Edward (Ed) Kasian Jr.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 14, 2024, at 11:00 AM at the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St., Parkesburg, PA, with visitation starting at 10:00 AM. Interment will be held on Friday, March 15, 2024, at 10:00 AM at the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, PA.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be sent to the American Cancer Society in Haps name.
