Geraldine S. Goody

Geraldine S. Goody, 105, of West Caln Township, PA, passed away at her home on Tuesday, September 10, 2024, surrounded by her family.  She was the wife of the late Paul J. Goody.

Born on December 29, 1918, she was the daughter of the late John and Elizabeth Murray Syphard. She was also known as Mom, Mom-Mom, Nena, Deanie, and Gerry. No matter what name anyone used, she was loved by all. And she was a positive inspiration to everyone who knew her.

She worked at the Shipyard in Chester and Lukens during WWII, Pepperidge Farm, and in the restaurant industry for many years. She worked in Strawbridge’s Café for 25 years until she retired at 78 years old.

She loved her puzzles. She did the Daily Local News Crossword Puzzles and the Cryptoquote every day for years up to a week before she passed.

She is survived by her daughters, Paula Bedrick of Honey Brook, PA, Carol Borelly of Coatesville, PA, son-in-law, Don Bedrick of Honey Brook, a granddaughter, Larissa Bedrick of Hummelstown, PA, a grandson, Don Wilson (Tere) of Frazer, PA, a sister Beverly Garress of Mechanicsburg, PA, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by six siblings,

Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
