I’m so sorry to hear of George’s passing. I knew him as a wonderful and kind man, and am regretting that our paths didn’t cross much earlier. Jean, to you and your family I pray for ‘the peace that passes all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus’. I know your faith will endure even this.
Your friend, Steve Marquis

I was perusing your site for another obituary and came across Mr.  Kovach's obit. We lived down the road from the Kovachs on Old Stottsville Road when we were kids, my dad still lives there. We would go sledding down their hill and my brother Joe and George II hung out a lot. I remember meeting Mr. Kovach, but I always thought it was interesting that he didn't mind all of us kids hanging out at the house when they only had the one son George. We caught up with George, the son,in 2017 when our Mother Patricia Wilson died. He came to the service and paid respects to her and we shared memories and it was great to see him. Of course I was sad to hear that he had passed away shortly after that, I assume it was. Like George II   did with us I want to pay homage to his father. Also, interesting fact, I noticed that he was a math teacher at Henderson High School in West Chester, where I currently teach since 1996. He was gone by the time I got there, but it was nice to know we had that In common. Rest in peace neighbor & friend.
