George B. Carter

George B. Carter, 66, of West Fallowfield Twp., passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, December 12, 2010 at his home.  He was the the beloved husband of Doris E. Mann Carter, with whom he shared six years of marriage.

 
Born in West Chester, he was the son of the late George L. Carter and Ruth M. Henson Rusden.  He was a 1963 graduate of West Chester High School.  He was retired from both Budd Co. in Lionville, where he was the Treasurer of the Union, and Allegheny Ludlum of Westwood.  
 
He is survived, in addition to his wife, by his sister, Pat Giunta of Exton, and eight half siblings.  He was predeceased by his son, Chad Carter.  
 
The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, December 17, 2010 at 11 a.m. at the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St., Parkesburg, Pa., followed by interment in the Bradford Cemetery of Marshalton.  Family and friends are invited to attend the viewing, which will be held from 10 until 11 AM.
