Edna Marie Price

Edna Marie Price, 79, of Parkesburg, passed away on Sunday, August 11, 2024 at Newport Meadows Nursing Home in Christiana, PA surrounded by her family. She was the beloved wife of Aldus B. Price with whom she shared 63 years of marriage. Born in Conestoga, PA, she was the daughter of the late James O. Booth, Sr. and Josephine Singelton Booth.

Edna was an area resident all her life. She was a professional hairdresser and, for many years, owned and operated Prices Beauty Salon in Coatesville, PA.

She is survived, in addition to her husband, by three children; Bill Price and wife Belinda of Narvon, PA, Wanda Hepburn and husband Bob of Honey Brook, PA and Steve Price and wife Tina of Gap, 10 grandchildren Paul Sheaffer and wife Sarah, Bill Price Jr and Beth, Dean Sheaffer and wife Brittany, Candace Price, Jeremy Price and wife Angie, Katie Sheaffer and Jaime, Nathan Price and wife Ashley, Nicholas Geesey and wife Darrian, Justin Geesey, Andrew Geesey and Emily and 25 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by all ten of her siblings.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, August, 23, 2024 at 11:00 AM from the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St., Parkesburg, PA followed by interment at the Bellevue Presbyterian Cemetery, Gap, PA. Family and friends are also invited to attend the viewing at the funeral home from 10:00 AM to the time of the service.
