Dorothy B. Robinson

Dorothy B. Robinson, 88, of Coatesville, Pa., passed away on Thursday, August 2, 2018, surrounded by her family.  She was the widow of A. Douglas Robinson, with whom she shared 40 years of marriage at the time of his death in 1990.

Born in Coatesville, she was the daughter of the late Sara B. (Gatley) and Horace S. Bireley.  She was a resident of Chester County for her entire life and a resident of Coatesville for most of her life.

Dorothy was employed by the Coatesville Police Dept. as a Crossing Guard at St. Cecilia's School until the school closed in 2006.

She is survived by her six daughters: Donna R. Falcone, wife of Frank III, of Coatesville, Edna M. Watt, wife of John, of Gallitzin, Pa., Jeanette L. Smith, companion of Harry Mullen, of Coatesville, Alberta A. Schmidt of Coatesville, Dorothy P. Robinson of Lebanon, Pa., and Helen E. Robinson of Coatesville; 20 grandchildren; and, 40 great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by three brothers: Donald S. Bireley, Horace S. Bireley, and Horace O. Bireley.

All services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
