Daniel L. Taylor Sr., 64, of Parkesburg, PA, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, February 8, 2023, at his home.  He was the husband of Leslie Cagle Taylor for eight years and they have been together for over twenty years. Born in Coatesville, PA, he was the son of the late William M. and Helen E. Thomas Taylor.

Daniel was an area resident throughout his life and was very proud of his Homeville, PA roots. He loved The Beatles, guitar playing, telling jokes, and caring for his fish tanks over the years. Always willing to lend an ear and share his encouragement, he was deeply spiritual and never missed an opportunity to tell his loved ones how much he cared for them. Daniel worked as a heavy equipment operator throughout his career. He worked for The Scotts Company in Oxford, PA for 30 years and was a superintendent before leaving to pursue other opportunities.

Besides his wife he is survived by his children, Florrie (Kenny) Kilanowski of Hollywood, FL, Crystallynn (Isreal) Villeda of Port Deposit, MD, Amanda Taylor of Port Deposit, MD, Daniel Jr. (Kimmy Matsinger) of West Bradford, PA, and Alicia Taylor (David Ham) of Oxford, a step-daughter, Brianna Genovese of West Chester, PA, 8 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and siblings, George "Bud" Taylor of Coatesville, and James (Donna) Taylor of Parkesburg.  He was preceded in death by a grandson, Maddox, and a sister, Shirley Taylor Wells.
