Constance L. Miller

Constance L. "Connie" Miller, 87, of Honey Brook, PA, died on Monday, January 25, 2016 at the Brandywine Hospital. Born in Coatesville, she was the daughter of the late Raphael N. Miller, Sr. and Gertrude McGinness Miller.

Connie grew up in Parkesburg and graduated from the Parkesburg High School in 1946. She continued her education at the former Coatesville Hospital School of Nursing and after graduating was employed for 19 years as a registered nurse at the Temple University Hospital retiring in 1991.
She was a member of the American Legion, The Parkesburg VFW Auxiliary, the Parkesburg Presbyterian Church and she volunteered with Southern Chester County Hospice.

She is survived by two nephews; James Steen and wife Karen of Manahawkin, NJ and Ray Steen of Paoli, PA, one great niece Kaleigh Steen and one great nephew Thomas Steen. She was preceded in death by two siblings; Raphael N. Miller, Jr. and Marian Miller Steen.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 1, 2016 at 11:00am from the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St. Parkesburg, PA followed by interment at the Glen Run Baptist Cemetery. Visitation from 10:00am to 11:00am.
