Clyde K. Brownback, Jr., 79, of Westwood, PA, died peacefully at his home on Saturday, January 12, 2019. He was the beloved husband of Judy Marino Brownback with whom he shared 54 years of marriage. Born in Pomeroy, he was the son of the late Clyde K. and Thelma Nunnemaker Brownback.
Clyde was an area resident all his life. He served in the US Navy aboard the USS Intrepid. He was employed as a welder by the International Brotherhood of Boilermakers Local 13 of Bristol, PA.
He is survived, in addition to his wife, by four sons; Robert Kershner and wife Heather of Quarryville, Clyde Brownback, III and wife Cindy of Gap, Ronald R. Brownback and wife Nathalie of Gap, Michael Brownback of Chester Co., and Beth Gilroy of Wilmington, DE, 10 grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and three siblings; Ronald W. Brownback of Coatesville, Gail Smith of Parkesburg and Debra Amway of Coatesville.
The family wishes to acknowledge three people for their compassionate and faithful care these last few months; daughter-in-law Nathalie Brownback, granddaughter Ashley Polischeck and Holisticare Hospice nurse Renee Varquez.
