Chester Charles Mycko, Jr., 71, of Parkesburg, formerly of Philadelphia passed away on Saturday, July 18, 2015 at his home, surrounded by his family.  He was the husband of Janet Young Mycko.

Born in Philadelphia, Chester was the son of the late Florence (Stillwell) and Chester Mycko Sr.  

Chester served honorably in the US Navy during Vietnam.  He later served in the Department of the Navy at Philadelphia for 20 years.

Chester is survived, in addition to his wife, by his son Michael Mycko, husband of Patty, of Lansing, Kansas and daughter, Christine DiCarlo, wife of Rich, of Villas, N.J.; stepchildren, Vanessa Battish, wife of Rajan, of Sykesville, MD, Eric Young, husband of Tabitha, of Ada Ohio and Alison Young, wife of Edgar Morales, of Parkesburg; and eight grandchildren.

The Memorial Service will be held on Friday, July 24th, 2015 at 11 AM at Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St., Parkesburg with visitation from 10 until 11 AM.  

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Chester's memory to Parkesburg Free Library, 105 West St. Parkesburg, PA 19365.
