Carol Jean Sagner, 71, of West Chester, passed away on Wednesday, October 9th, 2019, at Pocopson Home. Born in Coatesville she was the daughter of the late Thomas L. and Ruth V. Buchanan Sagner Sr.
An area resident all her life, Carol was a self-employed dog groomer. She owned and operated Carols Poodle Parlor. Her passion in life was breeding, raising and showing her standard poodles. She was a member of the West Chester Dog Obedience Club for many years. Other hobbies include golf, playing cards, puzzles and spending time with her family.
She is survived by a brother, Thomas Jr. and his wife, Deborah, of Millsboro, DE, two nieces, Andrea (Matthew) Green of Millsboro, and Kasey (Daniel) Herron of Downingtown, three great-nieces, two and a half great-nephews, two great, great-nieces and four great, great-nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial service on Saturday, October 26, 2019, at 11:00am from the Wilde Funeral Home, Parkesburg. Visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:00. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Alzheimer’s Association.
