Betty Franciscus

Betty Franciscus, 79, of Christiana, passed away on Friday, April 11, 2014 at the Brandywine Hospital. She was the widow of the late Walter Franciscus.

Born in Lancaster County, Betty was the daughter of the late Bessie (Cummings) and William Price. An area resident her entire life, Betty had been employed by the Anderson Pretzel Factory.

She was a member of the St. John's United Methodist Church of Paradise.

Betty is survived by her daughter, Linda Rynier of Atglen; four grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and one brother, Aldus Price of Parkesburg. She was predeceased by two sisters and one brother.

The funeral will be held on Tuesday, April 15, 2014 at 11 AM at the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St., Parkesburg, followed by interment in the Glen Run Cemetery of Atglen. The viewing will be from 10 until 11 AM.
