Bernard L. Vannoy, Sr.

Bernard Vannoy, Sr., 85, of Nottingham, passed away at Chester County Hospital on Thursday, September 28, 2023.  He was the husband of the late Dorothy M. Vannoy, with whom he shared 51 years of marriage.  

Bernard attended School in West Virginia and later went on to serve as Maintenance for Lewis and DiBartolomeo who grew and distributed Mushroom.  

He cherished time spent with his family especially his grandkids, loved to sit outside, and was an avid Philadelphia Phillies fan.  

He is survived by four children: Bernard Vannoy Jr. Of Nottingham, William Vannoy of Ft Myers Florida, Park Vannoy of West Chester, and Diane Vannoy of Nottingham. Additionally, he is survived by 8 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and two siblings: Harry Vannoy and Bertha Roberts both of Cleveland, Ohio.  

He is preceded in death by 11 siblings. 

Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, October 4, 2023, from the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St., Parkesburg, PA 19365. Friends and family are invited to attend a visitation period taking place from 10 AM until the start of the service. Interment will directly follow at Romansville United Methodist Church Cemetery.
