Anna Gregor Messner

Anna Gregor Messner, 86, of Coatesville, passed away at her daughter's home on Saturday, September 20, 2014. Born in Brandamore, PA, she was the daughter of the late August and Jennie Arasin Gregor. 
Anna was an area resident all her life and a 1946 graduate of the former Scott High School in Coatesville. She was employed, for 9 years, by the Lukens Steel Co. and afterward became a homemaker.
She was a faithful member of the St. Stanislaus Kostka Church.
 
Anna enjoyed gardening, painting and crafts but most of all spending time with her grandchildren, especially watching her granddaughter play softball.

She is survived by two children; Edwin Messner, Jr. of Coatesville and Elaine, wife of Thomas Savarese of West Brandywine and two grandchildren Raychal and Ryan Weis. She was preceded in death by one sister Dorothy Myers.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, September 24, 2014 at 11am from the St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, 209 W. Lincoln Highway, Coatesville, PA 19320 followed by interment at the St. Stanislaus Kostka Cemetery. Viewing at the Church from 10 to 11:00am.
