Ann N. Rice, 94, of Parkesburg, passed away on September 9th, 2016 under the care of Neighborhood Hospice of West Chester. She was the widow of the late Thomas Rice.
Born in Long Island, New York, Ann was the daughter of the late Julia (Shumyla) and Joseph Kolodski. A resident of Parkesburg for 84 years, she graduated from Parkesburg High School. She had worked at the Parkesburg Dress Factory and later at VA Hospital of Coatesville.
Ann was a parishioner of Our Lady of Consolation Catholic Church.
Ann is survived by her son, Christopher Rice, husband of Jill, of Parkesburg, her sister Stephanie Kolodski Pyle, wife of Martin, of Coatesvile, and her sister-in-law, Jean Kolodski of Parkesburg.
She was predeceased by her son, Timothy Rice and her brother Joseph Kolodski.
A graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made Keystone Valley Fire Dept., 329 W 1st Ave, Parkesburg, PA 19365.
