Ann Eby Garnett, 99, of Quarryville, PA passed away peacefully on December 16th, 2024.  She was born in Windber, PA to parents Sarah Shake Manotti and William Manotti.

A graduate of Windber High School, she excelled in vocal music and attended the Chautauqua School of Music in New York before moving to Coatesville to work for the Lukens Steel.  In the 1940's she entertained the troops upon their arrival to the States after their deployment.  She married Roy O. Eby of Parkesburg in 1945, and was an active soloist with the Lukens Band, the Washingtonians, and the All Girls Chorus.  Ann was also the Parkesburg Librarian in the late 50's and early 60's.  After her husband's death in 1961 she operated Eby's News Agency in Parkesburg for seven years until her marriage to Thomas Garnett in 1968. They were married for 52 years until his death in 2020.
Ann was a charter member of Church of the Open Bible in Parkesburg, and most recently attended Calvary Monument Bible Church in Paradise.  She enjoyed painting, playing piano, singing and writing gospel songs, and even had one of her songs published and played on local radio stations.  Before her official retirement, she was a teacher's aide at Octorara High School where she enjoyed interactions with both teachers and students, and was loved by all.  Her legacy lives on in the lives of those she loved the most, her family, and the Lord Jesus.

She is survived by a son, Thomas Garnett, Jr. (Loretta), and daughters Linda Walton (William), Patricia Buckwalter (Wayne), and Pamela Lapp (Mel), also eight living grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren and ten great great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her five siblings, and a grandson, Derek Thomas Lapp, and great granddaughters, Ireland Reich, and Brynn Elizabeth Kauffman.
