My daughter, Danielle Dix Monteith, worked with Beth at Handi-crafters for a few years and truly loved her. She was devastated when she learned of her passing. We decided to attend her service at the new Freedom Life Church in Atglen, Pennsylvania. I picked up Danielle in Denver, Pennsylvania and we went to the funeral service. What a phenomenal facility! The large attendance told me a lot about Beth and her family and the giving, loving, compassionate, Phillies-loving, chocolate chip cookie-baking lady that she was. She has left a legacy in her daughters and grandchildren and they will carry Beth in their hearts forever. The service was wonderful and tailored for Beth. The music, the speakers, the hymns, the sharing, the singing of "Amazing Grace" and the video on many screens were all perfect. The lunch afterward was perfect for those who could stay. I feel like I knew Beth, although I never met her. Danielle spoke highly of her, always. I send my sincere condolences to Larry "Bud", Jeanna and Laura, and her grandchildren. Cherish the memories, they are sweet. She will always be with you in your hearts. It was an honor to attend the service for Beth Anne Welsch. I wish you peace and healing in the days ahead...
