Carol M. Harner, 76, of Narvon, passed away on Thursday, August 3, 2023 at her home. She was the beloved wife of Samuel M. Harner, Jr. with whom she shared almost seven years of marriage. She was preceded in death by her first husband John P. Linnenbaugh. Born in Avondale, she was the daughter of the late Robert Mullin and Marian Gregg Mullin.
Carol was an area resident all her life and a 1964 graduate of the Avon Grove High School. She was employed by the Octorara Area School District as a bookkeeper from 1980 to 2001 and later by the Kennett Area School District from 2002 to 2003 in bookkeeping.
Carol was a member of the Grace Church of Ephrata.
She is survived, in addition to her husband, by three children; Mike Linnenbaugh and wife Terri, William Harner and wife Marnan, and Robert Linnenbaugh and wife Beth, seven grandchildren; Brandon, Josh, Ryan, William, Abigail, Paige and Jona, two great grandchildren; Spencer and Sophia and one brother Robert Mullin and wife Alice.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
