William Thomas Short

William Thomas Short, 63, of Coatesville, passed away on Wednesday, November, 16, 2022 at the Chester County  Hospital in West Chester, PA. He was the beloved husband of Deborah Ann Hoffman Short with whom he shared 30 years of marriage. Born in West Chester, he was the son of Ann Mahoney of Tennessee and the late Thomas Short.

Bill was an area resident all his life. He was employed by the former Brandywine Hospital for over 19 years in the housekeeping department.

He is survived, in addition to his wife, by four children; Robert K. Hoffman of Coatesville, Lisa Hoffman of Reading, Anna Hoffman of Coatesville and William T. Short, Jr. of Coatesville, four grandchildren, two great grandchildren and three brothers; Franklin Short and wife  Megan of Coatesville, Steven Short of Maryland and Timothy Mahoney of Tennessee.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
