Brian Patrick Sullivan, 66, of Parkesburg, PA, passed away on Sunday, October 3, 2021 at the Lancaster General Hospital. Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Cornelius Frances Sullivan and Rose Marie Ewerth Sullivan.
Brian received a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Temple University and then continued his education at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh where he obtained a Master’s degree.
He was employed most of his life in the entertainment business as a producer/director.
He is survived by four sons; Jared Sullivan and wife Melissa of Lancaster, Jamison Sullivan and wife Ariel of Parkesburg, Joshua Sullivan and wife Tess of Bethlehem, PA and Jason Sullivan of Parkesburg, two grandchildren; Bianca Rose Sullivan and Rohnan Joshua Sullivan, Leslie Armentrout Sullivan, mother of his four children and 11 siblings; Cornelius F. Sullivan, III, Nadine Sullivan, Laureen M. Farr, Christopher John Sullivan, Matthew C. Sullivan, Kathleen M. Boraski, Francine Stafford, Shawn G. Sullivan, Constance R. Sullivan-Blum, Gregory R. Sullivan and Dion G. Sullivan.
In a statement from his eldest son, “ He was the most kind hearted man, I have ever known. Always willing to give the shirt off of his back to those that needed it. He is the type of man I hope to live up to and be remembered as. Through him my brothers and I learned so much of music and culture, domestic and foreign. He was a light of hope and dignity in a world of shadows, and I will always be proud to say that I am his son. He left too early, truth be told I thought he’d outlive me. But to quote one of his favorite artists: ‘ only the good die young’ “.
A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, November 6, 2021 at 10:30 AM at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 119 South Prince St., Lancaster, PA 17603 with visitation at the church from 10:00 AM to the time of the service.
