Skip was the first smiling face our son was greeted with as he boarded Bus 25 on his first day of first grade in 2010. Our son learned a lot about listening, following directions and being respectful from Skip and for that I will always be grateful.
Our deepest sympathy to your family. May you always hold the memories close to your heart.

My heartflelt sympathy to Mrs.Ruth Lawrence, the family, frineds and all whose lives were positively impacted by "Skip" Lawrence.

"Skip" will be deeply missed by so many. He was a humble man that impacted so many lives. "Skip" loved his family, was a faithful man, enjoyed many friendships, inspired people.and always willing to help his communities. "Skip" was always quick to offer a welcoming handshake and smile. He was straight across the board. Matter of fact speaking. His laughter was hearty. Part chuckle and a delight. "Skip" was one to give great advice. If you followed it, you were happy. If you did not, you lived with your decision and told him.

As a Generational Family Banker, "Skip" was deeply respected and sought after for his expertise. He was a brilliant Financier. "Skip" would be recruited by various fiduciary institutions and relocate across the Tri-County area of Chester, Lancaster and Berks Counties. "Skip" would move and individuals and families would follow him. He continuosly maintained the role of a entrusted advisor. Being such an engaging individual, "Skip" was never a stranger anywhere. I recall him being active with the Lions Club and he volunteered with his local Fire Company. Always involved trying to make someone's day, his communities and the world better every day. "Skip" was a visionary. He could see what was, what may be and what should be. He was truly gifted and skilled.

"Skip" was my first Banker, at 6 years old, with my mackerel jar full of coins. His guidance and advise, I sought easily. He was like a Dad to me. He was a compass, to me and many others. Many major life decisions came with a meeting and discussion with "Skip". There is a part of my heart that is broken. I have missed those talks with his long illness. No one misses those more than his wife and family, I know. "Skip" was exceptional. He was a blessing. What a MAN.

A huge, sincere Thank You to Mrs. Lawrence and The Family. Thank You, for sharing "Skip" with the world. We are all immensely grateful and better for knowing him. May G-D comfort you and give you strength, on your journey, in the days ahead. One empty chair, Good Memories. Love. Peace.
