Another dear friend has gone on to peace. Buzz was my 2nd friend when I moved to Chester County in the mid fifties. He was a wonderful friend. I spent countless hours at his home playing cards like Canasta. His service to the City of Coatesville was tireless. Rest in peace dear friend.

Buzz, you were always THE go-to guy if anybody wanted to know anything about Coatesville. You probably forgot more than I'll EVER know about this town - you were a true student of your first-run and a true "fireman's fireman"! You had a huge affect on my (and many others') successes as members of the City of Coatesville Bureau of Fire and I'm certain touched many others in your career, that of which you and your family can be extremely proud! Dave, Sandy and all of Buzzy's family - I extend my and my families' deepest sympathies, more than you know or I could ever express here, and pls know our hearts are broken also. Buzz will be deeply missed and our prayers go out to your family during these dark times. Rest easy my friend, we have the watch from here. RIP and keep on "...testing the cell phone in the Rescue..." brother!!!

My son Erik called me to tell me you were sick, I was immediately concerned. He then called me today and told me you went home.  Words can't express the gratitude I had in knowing you all through school and during all those years fighting fire in Coatesville. We had one hell of a great crew Buzz ! Say hello to everyone up there and I'm sure I'll see you again. To your family and other friends...May God bless them  and keep them all safe and healthy.    Bronze Nuts
