Dear Gary, Kathi, Christopher & Family
So very sorry to hear about the loss of our favorite "Uncle June" as we called him. I'm sure he had a wonderful welcome in heaven by his old neighbors Jim and Anna Mary along with many others like Iva and Bobby who passed through the gates before him. He was truly blessed with good friends and family, and we will sorely miss him. His smiling face was always a welcome sight and a part of being home again. We loved his many stories and hearing about his latest escapades. Growing up next to June and visiting him during our many trips home was always something we looked forward to. Seeing him go out early in his truck or just sitting over on the bench always made us smile. He loved going out, seeing friends, meeting people, enjoying the simple things in life like being out and about. He was a good friend and neighbor, but more then that a proud patriot. God Bless

I don't know how to put into words how I felt about Uncle June. He was definitely like an "Uncle". It was so great growing up next to all of you and it was truly like home all around the neighborhood and I still feel that way when I come over to Wagontown. It will always be home. I will miss hearing all the stories about my family from him that are dear to my heart. He will be greatly missed!!!! Just feel good in knowing that he was meet by many many friends.

Love you guys!!!

Gary, Kathi and Chris,

Life is the hardest when there is a loss of someone so dear. Remember, he is no longer having a hard time breathing nor uncomfortable from fluid build up. Remember the good times you had and keep his memory dear until you meet again.

I always enjoyed hearing him sing as he rocked so nonchalantly on the porch swing. If we could all be so pleasantly endearing- this world would be a better place. It definitely was while he was here and he will be missed deeply.

May he rest in peace and give you peace during this challenging time.

Time heals the ache so you can laugh and remember with smiles.

Love,
Donna

Gary, Kathi & Chris:

So sorry to hear the news...You're in our thoughts and prayers. I never had a chance to meet Mr. Dunlap but always remember his purple truck and seeing him sit outside. He would wave as we went past. I enjoyed reading the history of his life...Take Care!
