Thomas A. Barlow, 61, of Leesburg, FL, died on Thursday Sept. 28, 2017. He was the beloved husband of Deborah A. Flynn Barlow with whom he shared 11 years of marriage. Born in West Chester, he was the son of Beulah J. Matlack Barlow of Fruitland Park, FL and the late Andrew J. Barlow.
Tom was a County resident most of his. He proudly served in the US Navy aboard the USS Benjamin Franklin Ballistic Missile Submarine. Tom was employed as an engineer and was involved with designing military weapons systems.
He served as Commander of Amvets Post 2006 in Leesburg, FL.
He is survived, in addition to his wife and mother, by four children; Mary C. Charron and husband Leo of Myersville, MD, John H. Henry and wife Janet of Frederick, MD, Desiree Thomas of Frederick, MD, and Corey Brown of Phoenixville, PA; seven grandchildren and four siblings; Cheryl Bastien of Wilmington, DE, George Barlow of Leesburg, FL, Linda Allen of Nottingham, PA and Dottie Purvis of Okahumpka, FL. He was preceded in death by one brother Ray Stout.
A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, November 4, 2017 at 11am at Our Lady of Consolation Church, 603 W 2nd Ave, Parkesburg, PA 19365 followed by interment at the Parkesburg Catholic Cemetery. Visitation at the church from 10 to 11am
