Edward P. Pluck, Sr., 85, of Coatesville, died on Thursday, December 31, 2015 at the Brandywine Hospital. He was the husband of Mary Alice Ross Pluck with whom he shared 59 years of marriage. Born in Rock Run, he was the son of the late George and Lulu Bussinger Pluck. 

Ed served in the US Army during the Korean War. He was  employed by Luria Brothers in Coatesville. He was a member of the Thorndale Fire Co. and he enjoyed hunting, motorcycles and old Ford cars.

He is survived, in addition to his wife, by three children; Davis L. Pluck of Parkesburg, Kelly L. Pluck and wife Fonda of Westwood and Jeffrey H. Pluck and wife Sandra of Parkesburg, four grandchildren, four great grandchildren, one great great grandchild and three siblings; Miriam McGinnis of Holliday, FL, Shirley Root and Davis L. Pluck both of Coatesville. He was preceded in death by a son Edward P. Pluck, Jr., two grandchildren Brian Pluck and Shelby Pluck. 

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday evening, January 6, 2016 at 6pm from the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St. Parkesburg, PA. Viewing from 4 to 6pm. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made directly to the Wilde Funeral Home to help defray funeral costs. Online condolences can be posted at www.wildefuneralhome.com
