Veronica E. Moncuso

Veronica E. Moncuso, 93, formerly of Parkesburg, passed away on Friday, February 20, 2015 at St. Martha's Manor in Downingtown.  She was the widow of the late Dominic L. Moncuso who passed away in 2003.  

Born in Parkesburg, Veronica was the daughter of the late Margaret (Harris) and Joseph A. Swyderski.  A resident of Parkesburg her entire life, Veronica was a graduate of the Parkesburg High School.  She was a parishioner of Our Lady of Consolation Church.  

She was employed by the former Lukens Steel of Coatesville, where she worked in the office.  

Veronica loved to play Bridge and square dance.

She is survived by her three children: Margaret M. Devlin, wife of Bill, of Christiana, Anthony L. Moncuso, husband of Donna, of Chester Springs, Mark S. Moncuso, husband of Lynda, of Gilbertsville, Pa; five grandchildren, Amanda Allwein, wife of Chad, Danielle Bittner, wife of Jon, Evan Moncuso, Ben Moncuso and Ross Moncuso; and siblings, Andrew Swyderski, Madeline Moore and Constance Smith.

She was predeceased by her brother, Robert Swyderski. 

The Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, February 28, 2015 at the Our Lady of Consolation Church, 603 West 2nd Avenue, Parkesburg, PA 19365 with visitation from 10 until 11 AM.
