C. Elizabeth Shoemaker, 88, formerly of Parkesburg, died on Sunday, December 14, 2014 Harrison Senior Living in Christiana, PA. Born in Sadsbury Township, Chester County, she was the daughter of the late John and Ada Messick Shoemaker.
Betty lived in the Parkesburg area all her life. She graduated from the West Chester University and was a music teacher most of her life. She was a member of the United Presbyterian Church of Parkesburg.
Graveside services will be held on Thursday, December 18, 2014 at 10:30am from the Upper Octorara Cemetery, Octorara Road, Parkesburg, PA 19365.

I'm sorry to hear about the
I'm sorry to hear about the passing of Betty Shoemaker. Betty used to live up the street from us in a beautiful brick home. I remember Betty as a sweet caring person who loved her many cats. As a teenager, I was honored that she would ask me to care for them when she traveled. I pray that Betty is at peace and reuninted with her family in the Kingdom of God.
