Roma L. Reel, 79, of Coatesville, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, June 2, 2014 at the Chester County Hospital.  Roma was the widow of the late Robert D. Reel who passed away in 2010 after they had shared 55 years of marriage.  
 
Born in Highland Township, Roma was the daughter of the late Maime (Stoltzfus) and Benjamin Lantz.  An area resident her entire life, Roma was a graduate of Scott High School.  
 
Roma was a member of the Freedom Life Christian Center of Christiana.
 
She is survived by her three children: Roxanne Pointek of Coatesville, Richard Reel Sr. of Coatesville and Ronald Reel, husband of Jean (Combs), of Coatesville; eight grandchildren, David Pointek (Angel), Dominic Pointek, Derek Pointek (Kirsten), Richard Reel, Jr., Jade Reel (Tony), Amanda Reel, Jessica Steffy (John) and Hannah Reel (Nate); and eight great grandchildren; and siblings, Melvin Lantz of Enola, Pa, Ernest Lantz of Highland Twp., and Leona Stone of Bolder, CO.
 
Roma was predeceased by eight siblings.  
 
The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, June 6 at 11 AM at Freedom Life Christian Center, 447 Noble Rd, Christiana, PA 17509 with Pastor Sam Masteller officiating.  The viewing will be held from 10 until 11.  Interment will follow at the Glen Run Cemetery of Atglen.

So very sorry to hear of Roma's passing. She was such a beautiful person and a joy to know. I always thought that she seemed to "glow".
