Charles Homer Weller, 88, of Kennett Square, died on Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2013 at the Coatesville VA Medical Center. He was the husband of Doris E. Miller Weller with whom he shared 62 years of marriage. Born in West Chester, he was the son of the late Richard H. and Margaret C. Watson Weller. 

Mr. Weller was an area resident all his life. He served in the US Army from 1948 to 1949. He was employed by Acme Markets in Kennett retiring in 1985 and he was a 62 year member of the 1st Baptist Church of Kennett Square.   
He is survived, in addition to his wife, by three daughters; Joan, wife of Walter Willis of Kamiah, ID, Joyce Weller of Aston, PA and Ami, wife of Mark Hilton of Cochranville, two granddaughters Hailey and Hannah Hilton and one sister Hazel Troilo of West Chester.
 
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2013 at 11am from the First Baptist Church of Kennett Square, 415 W. State St., Kennett Square, PA followed by interment at the Union Hill Cemetery. Viewing at the church from 10 to 11am.

Dear Doris and family, we are sending you our love and prayers as you mourn and celebrate the life of such an amazing father, husband and friend. We are so thankful for Charlie and his friendship and faithfuless to the Lord. We have cherished and kept ALL of his precious handmade cards that he always sent and continued to send us these past few years. We want to come to visit you Dorris....so we will be calling you.
