Carol Mae Spencer, 72, of Cochranville, passed away on Tuesday, December 25th, 2012 at the Pocopson Home. She was the wife of Marvin Spencer, with whom she shared 40 years of marriage.
Born in Coatesville, she was the daughter of Tobias and Ethel Wanner.
She is survived, in addition to her husband, by her daughter, Veronica Spencer of Northeast, MD, and Shannon Giroso, wife of Vincent, of Oxford; seven grandchildren and siblings, Fonda Brackeen, Betty Roberts, Ernie and Tommy Wanner and Toby Wanner.
The Memorial Service will take place on Saturday, December 29th, 2012 at 2 PM at the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St., Parkesburg, PA. Visitation from 1 until 2 PM.

I deeply extend my heartfelt sympathy to the immmediate family. I have known Carol since we attended Parkesburg elementary school together in Ms. Grossman's first grade class in 1947. She was always a kind and cheerful individual. She will surely be one of God's preferred happy angels. May God bless you all.
Carol will truly be
Carol will truly be missed...I've known her since Veronica and I were 7 years old in Girl Scouts together. She was such a special lady! She was ALWAYS so nice to me and told me she loved me everytime I would come to pick Veronica up or even if I just called on the phone. She is now an Angel in Heaven, I know I will see her again one day!

Mom you will be greatly missed. You were always there for me and my kids. You were loved sooo very much. Not sure how we will go on without you but I know your in Heaven and not in any pain anymore
