Dear Chris and Family,
My thoughts are with you during this time of loss.

Chris, what a blessing you have been to James Bell Smith, Sr. How wonderful that your grandpa was with you these lasts months! Cherish the moments and remember all the good times you shared during his life.
A Hospice nurse once told me, "the healing begins when you start telling stories", she was right.

Our deepest sympathy goes to Smitty's family. Smitty was always like one of the family...whether it was at the Coke Shop, or at Pot-Nets. I'll never forget the time he pulled a turtle out of the pond in front of our house at Pot-Nets, stuck it in his trunk, then came back the next day with some snapper soup for us! It is memories like this that will keep his spirit alive! With greatest sympathy and fond memories, our love - Mike, Rita, Alyssa, Elaina and Julia Bassett
