Carol J. McKim, 66, of Pomeroy, passed away on Sunday, May 13, 2012 at the Einstein Hospital in Philadelphia.  She was the beloved wife of Bryan H. McKim, with whom she shared 45 years of marriage.  

 
Born in Clarksville, Ark., Carol was the daughter of the late James F. and Wanda J. (Morelock) Baskin.  An area resident for the past 38 years, she attended the Pomeroy Methodist Church. 
 
Carol was a retired Seamer Operator at Reynolds Metals, where she had worked for 10 years.
 
She is survived by her daughter Holly Desiderio, wife of John, of Thorndale; five grandchildren; and siblings, Donald, Thomas, James and Charles Baskin and Margaret Rutledge.  
 
She was predeceased by her son, Bryan P. McKim.
 
The Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, May 17, 2012 at 11 a.m. at the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St., Parkesburg, Pa. with visitation from 10 until the time of the service.  
 
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Carol's memory to the Pomeroy United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 68, Pomeroy, PA 19367
