So sorry to hear about Pearl.
So sorry to hear about Pearl. I worked for Home Instead and was with Pearl for a little while after her fall a couple years ago. I am also friends with Karen her niece. She was a sweet godly woman and I will see her again in heaven. God Bless her family. May the Lord comfort you all during this time.

Wonderful memories...
...we have so many of "Aunt" Pearl! She played such a part in our lives, from preparing for church luncheons, making her famous "finger" sandwiches for wedding and baby showers, along with sharing her workshop teaching us how to make the most beautiful wreaths and decorations, to being surprised when we showed up for Halloween eventhough she very well knew who we were! We all are better people for having known her and send our thoughts and prayers.
A Most Unforgettable Character!
I came to know Pearle in the early autumn of '65 when she came to Butler's Hardware! She came to take over my job as I had been drafted into the Army. I remember that Pearle could work faster then anyone I knew! She scittered about as if she were wearing roller skates! I always admired Pearle because she alway's stood up to anyone simply for what she beleived! I will always have many fond memories of her.
And to Peg, John & Stephen, it's a good thing that The Good Lord never required us to give back to 'Mom' everything she ever gave to us!
And to all of you, I just want you to know that our prayers, our thoughts and our deepest sympathies are with you at this time!
death of Pearle
Dear Peggy & Family,
I was very sorry to hear about the death of your mother. I think it is hard to lose a parent at any age. As an adult your parents become more interesting as we age and the interactions become special. Pearle was fortunate to have a long life and see her family grow and be loved by her family. We are having company this weekend and I cannot attend her service but my thoughts & prayers will be with you and her family.
To My Grandmother
There is so much of you in me now that I'm old enough to see it...I will never forget the songs you sang to me, the books you read (which I now read to my children). I was blessed to have a steadfast loving Grandma who shared so much with me as a child. The trips to Slate Run were the highlight of my summers when we looked for fossil rocks, watched the trains go by, picked grapevine, found little frogs, had root beer floats, played cards and took long walks. No one will ever make Christmas cookies as well as you, I've tried. And the very last quilt you made, I am honored to have. When my children look at my Mother, and my husband's Mother with adoration and love, I know exactly how they feel about them because I felt that way about you. When my camera doesn't work the way I want it to, "oh RATS" flies right out of my mouth and I am reminded of all the family gatherings we heard you say that while standing there waiting for you to take our picture! There are so many memories and only one thing left to say. God bless you and keep you, God lift his face to shine upon you and give you peace. I Love you.
I am soo sorry for your loss.
I am soo sorry for your loss. I worked with Pearl at Butlers hardware. She was the sweetest person I have ever met. I even use to peek in on her when I worked at Hickory house. She will be truly missed.
