Dora Newnam

Dora Newnam, in her 89th year, of Christiana Pa. was called to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday August 30, 2009 while at the Golden Living Nursing home in Lancaster Pa. She was born October 6, 1920 in Altoona Pa. She was the daughter of the late Orazio and Assunta Rabotina Saccucci.

 She was a member of Parkesburg Methodist Church. She retired from Pepperidge Farm, Downingtown, Pa. in May of 1984. She enjoyed many years of retirement with her family. Dora loved to spend time in her garden and read books.

Dora was survived by her son Joseph Newnam, wife Katheryn, of Parkesburg and her daughter Jeana Carter, husband Robert of Christiana Pa. She has four grand children and nine great grand children. She is also survived by her brother John Saccucci of Ercildoun Pa. and also has many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by sisters, Yolanda Shaver and Nora Fazio.

Memorial service will be held at Parkesburg United Methodist Church on Sunday September 13, 2009 at 3:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that contributions be made to the Organ Fund, for the Parkesburg United Methodist Church, 411 Main Street, Parkesburg Pa. 19365.
