Jeannette Mikula, 95, passed away peacefully at Harrison House Christiana, PA on Tuesday, January 31st at the age of 95 just days after a birthday party with her family.
She was born in Chester, Pennsylvania the daughter of Jack & Margaret Lippolis.
Jeannette was a 1939 graduate of St. Roberts High School.
She married Rudolph Mikula in 1943 and they celebrated 60 years of marriage together.
She worked as a “Rosie the Riveter” at the Westinghouse plant in Essington, PA making parts for Naval Ships during WW2. She was a long time parishioner at St. Agnes Church in West Chester, PA.
Jeannette retired to Frankford, Delaware in 1988 after working at Immaculata University for 20 years as a Pantry Supervisor.
She moved back to Pennsylvania in 2005. Jeannette enjoyed cooking, crocheting and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her son, Mark Mikula and his wife Cathy, of Parkesburg, PA and her son, Rudy Mikula and his wife Jackie, of Waxachachie Texas; her Brother and sister in law, Frank and Rose Lippolis, of New Holland PA, 4 grandchildren; Jenny and Mike Mikula and Harry and Eliza McNamara and many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to a Memorial Service at Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St., Parkesburg, PA on February 11, 2017 at 3:00 PM with visitation from 2 until the start of the service.

Many fond memories at you house in Immaculata. We loved your mom and dad also. Dont know if you remember us or not but we visited your parents often many times with are children.Had some great meals on Sunday's at your house. Two of the greatest people we ever met.
