Margaret "Betty" (Miller) Schapansky, 81, of Atglen, passed away on Wednesday, January 28th, 2015 at her home. She was the widow of Herman Schapansky, who passed away in 2013 after they had shared 62 years of marriage.
Born in Rising Sun, Md., Margaret was the daughter of the late Brinton and Margaret Miller.
She attended the Parkesburg United Methodist Church.
Margaret is survived by her children: Carol Brimmeier, husband Mathew, of Colorado, Gary Schapansky, wife Tammy, of South Carolina, Deborah Reed, husband Brent, of Atglen, Bette Jo Bove, husband Steve, of Phillipsburg, and Robert Schapansky, wife Lynne, of Lancaster; ten grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; brothers Jim and Ken Miller, sisters, Lauraine Overly and Patty Robinson; and too many friends and relatives to mention.
The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, January 31 at 11 AM at Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St., Parkesburg, followed by interment at the Nottingham Missionary Baptist Church. The viewing will be from 10 until 11 AM.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Margaret's memory to either the Parkesburg U.M. Church, 411 Main Street, Parkesburg, PA 19365 or to the Brandywine River Valley Hospice, 121 Bell Tower Lane, Oxford, PA 19363.
