Jesse L. Townsley, Jr., 89, formerly of Westwood, passed away on Friday, January 9th, 2015 at the Fairmount Homes of Ephrata. He was the beloved husband of Dolores E. Townsley, with whom he shared 64 years of marriage.
Born in West Chester, Jesse was the son of the late Elizabeth B. (Waltz) and Jesse L. Townsley Sr; and stepson of the late Cora (Britton) Townsley. An area resident his entire life, Jesse was employed by Richard A. Armstrong Co. of Romansville as a Drill Press Operator, retiring in 1990.
He was a member at Towerville Christian Church.
He is survived, in addition to his wife, by his two children: Yvonne Snow, wife of Rev. M. Craig, of Stevens, Pa. and Darlene L. Townsley of Malvern; two grandchildren, Adam Snow and Rachel Ruggieri; and great granddaughter, Eden. He was predeceased by his sister, Elizabeth Sokso.
The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, January 14, 2015 at 11 AM at the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St., Parkesburg, followed by interment in the Hephzibah Baptist Cemetery of East Fallowfield. The viewing will be held from 10 to 11 AM.

We are so sorry for the passing of Jesse but he is rejoicing in the presence of our Lord and Saviour. He was a loving person and am so glad we had the honor of knowing Jesse.
