James F. Filoromo, 65, passed away on Thursday, March 6th at the Harrison House of Christiana. He was the beloved husband of Grace Gowen Filoromo with whom he shared 41 years of marriage.
Born in Coatesville, he was the son of the late Josephine V. (Mento) and James F. Filoromo.
James was a 1966 graduate of the S. Horace Scott H.S. He earned a B.S. degree from Philadelphia College of Textile and Science in 1970. James was employed as an accountant.
James was a parishioner of the Our Lady of Consolation Church of Parkesburg.
He is survived by his brother, Joseph M. Filoromo of Thorndale, his sister, Angelina Bair of Coatesville, two nephews, Joseph M. Filoromo and Dominick Bair, one niece, Marisa Neely, two great nieces, one great nephew and his beloved pet bird Sunshine.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, March 12, 2014 at 10:30am at Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 80 S. 17th Ave., Coatesville, PA followed by interment at the St. Cecilia Cemetery in Coatesville. Visitation at the church from 9:30 to 10:30am.
Memorial contributions may be made in Jim's memory to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Central Pennsylvania Chapter, 2040 Linglestown Rd., Suite 104, Harrisburg PA 17110.
